Gloomrose

Gloomroses are thorny plants with white flowers that grow on gravesites and cemeteries. If a bloom is picked from the stem, it lets out a ghastly howl before wilting instantly. This is said to happen because the flowers contain memories of the people buried near the flowers.
Because of its supernatural nature, gloomrose is a popular component in magic potions. Drinks made out of it give the consumer ethereal properties.
