Intervention Overview

Penitents Immeron, Doric, and Kharesen were dispatched to The Tomorrow Bazaar, a surreal and liminal marketplace, to secure a legendary burial shroud called The Final Curtain. The mission was assigned by The Fop, a devilish figure under self-imposed “house arrest” in his realm in The Nether. He provided the Penitents with a collection of enigmatic artifacts to trade for the shroud.
To gain entry to the Bazaar, each Penitent sacrificed a deeply personal memory. Once inside, they navigated an ethereal labyrinth of eccentric merchants, dangerous encounters, and challenging negotiations. Their journey culminated in a climactic battle against the Failed Weaver, the spectral creator of the shroud, whose haunting attacks targeted the players’ sacrifices and ambitions.
The Penitents succeeded in claiming the shroud and returned it to The Fop.

Salient Details

• To pay the Entrance Fee, Immeron gave up a nostalgic memory of making black bean soup, Doric chose to forget a traumatic killing, and Kharesen sacrificed a fleeting memory of vulnerability.
• The Penitents traded memories with Gulbus, the Smellmonger, for evocative scents; Immeron and Doric obtained magical masks from Marabel, while Kharesen declined to participate.
