Elder

The title of Elder is bestowed upon the most ardent followers of The Permitted by The Ascendant of the Alerki Ascendency. They are responsible for the religious, governmental, cultural, and military affairs of a settlement or region. Most towns and villages have one Elder. Cities often have three.
