Toruvaje
The land of dragons. Home of the red folk and the warring giants. Toruvaje is truly a land of fire and wind. It has not seen true peace for centuries, and gods only know when the land shall settle into stable peace once more. It is as if there is something stopping it, keeping it from calm. Perhaps it is true what they say, perhaps Toruvaje lives and breathes the essence of Khulfahl. War and stars rage in that strange land.
Geography
Passing through the lone trench known as Ladari's Pass, travellers find themselves in a sprawling land of fire and wind. Sandstone ruins whisper of times and civilisations long past, covered and uncovered by the will of the wind each day. Tall sand dunes block out the beaming sun. Folk can walk days without a change in the scenery; only tracking footsteps and the movement of the sun serving as an indication of progress. Oases lie scattered across the desert like small gifts from the Gods themselves. They provide respite from the heat; clean water, palm trees and fruits of the desert are ripe for the taking.
To the north, the mountain range separates the golden dunes from the dangerous jungle residing at the edge of the continent, with naught to stop them but the Kinkara citadel- the last bastion of known civilisation. Built into the mountain pass, the citadel is designed to protect the desert from dangers of the north. Of course, some may find themselves tempted by the Drake's Pass. The grave of an ancient Golden Dragon that fell there in the ages past. But few venture there. That part of Toruvaje is a hotspot for potent elemental energy, and strange creatures wander the dragon's remains.
To most unaware folk who have not travelled outside of their village in all of their lives, Toruvaje may seem like a barren wasteland. It is nothing of the sort, however. It is a land of complex ecosystems and fascinating wildlife to anyone who may have enough patience for it. Whilst the intricacies of Trouvaje are perhaps not as obvious and colourful as those of Faron, they are no less wonderful and magical.
Fauna & Flora

The most famed beast to grace the Toruvajan desert is the dragon. These mighty beasts are said to have awoken first in the desert land, and many of them have refused to leave their homeland, even when the tieflings and humans inhabiting the land have began hunting them down for their organs. Many have taken into hiding themselves in abandoned ruins or tall mountain ranges. A coupke have taken to living in society, such as the Toruvajan councils treasurer, who is openly a black dragon.
The second famous Toruvajan beast is the Karkadann, a large magical beast often utilised by the Ea'Vagt orcs as mounts and companions. Dust Diggers, Desert Worms and Sand Krakens are also creatures known to many a traveller of the desert, and most folks have plenty of stories encountering even stranger beasts.
The flora of Toruvaje is best described as prickly. Cacti, desert roses, palm trees and sand vines are all treasures to be found within this golden land. Alchemical ingredients such as Blue roots can found in the deep caverns of the desert and have often been exported to placed such as Faron and Vala.
