True Undead
True Undead refers to a type of undead creature, often humanoids. The process to create true undead is secret knowledge that is possessed by very few, and stories of them across time are scarce. The most recent records of true undead come from the War of the Warlocks, in which Malik is said to have created a magical artifact that allowed him to create an infinite number of them. After this artifact's destruction in 18 A.o.R., all the true undead tied to it died for good. However, there are stories of those who were blessed with true undeath that did not immediately perish, and are still wandering the land of Vadovass.
True Undead, like any undead, are characterized by their undead nature. None of them have to eat, drink, or sleep, and are capable to performing demanding tasks for hours without rest. They do not age or get sick either. Unlike zombies or wights however, true undead maintain the personalities they had while they were living, as well as their intelligence, memories, and free will. Upon inspection, nothing appears clinically wrong with their bodies, except that they often feel cold to the touch and have no pulse. Healing magic also appears to fail on them. Some true undead are able to reform at the location they were made undead should they die until their curse is broken. During the War of the Warlocks, Malik's First Army of the Black Sun was entirely made up of true undead. Starting off at just 7,000 soldiers, they eventually were made 125,000 strong. Each true undead had to first be living, then was killed by Malik's touch, only to reform at the artifact he created several hours later.
