List of Galledallian Languages

The Land of Galledall is full of languages and dialects. Unlike other parts of the world, there is no common tongue that can be spoken universally. If you wish to travel to another land, it is wise to know at least one or two languages that are spoken by most the native populace. Languages will typically differ due to race, nationality, and even between regions of a single country.

Draconic Languages:

• Chroma - A mixture of Draconic and Infernal. Extremely rare, it is used exclusively by worshipers of Tiamat.
• Draconic - Universal language of dragons and dragonborn. It is also used as the international language for study and use of magic. Draconic is widely used in: United Clans of Midiiz(Official), Republic of Viltanor, Kingdom of Salandi(Official), Sunar Confederacy

Elven Languages:

• Abarae - A dialect of elvish typically spoken among the high elf communities. Many elves living in elven-dominated cultures tend to know it. Abarae is widely used in: Kingdom of Salandi, New Elven Union, Shiminore, Almaridian Empire
• Ellu - A dialect of elvish typically spoken amongst the wood elf communities. Ellu is widely used in: New Elven Union, Shiminore, Almaridian Empire
• Pananum - Ancient elvish. Once extinct in the land of Vadovass, it has since been revived by the New Elven Union, and spoken as the national language of both it and the Ancient Elven Dominion. It is known to be notoriously difficult to learn, even for those who already know an elven language. Pananum is used in: New Elven Union(Official), Ancient Elven Dominion

Human Languages:

• Almaridian - A human language used as the official language of the Almaridian Empire. It is in many ways similar to Highlander, but has heavy elements of dwarven mixed in. Almaridian is widely used in: Kingdom of Salandi, Almaridian Empire(Official), New Elven Union, Khallador
• Daelish - Used as the official language of Middelgemard, and has some use in neighboring countries. It is the most widely used human language north of Almaridia. Daelish is widely used in: Almaridian Empire, New Elven Union, Middelgemard, Khallador, Shiminore(Official), New Golden Alliance(Official)
• Saedling - The official language of Haffanland, and used by many northerners, including many who currently reside in Zaviorth's Domain. Saedling is widely used in: Shiminore, New Golden Alliance, Haffanland(Official)
• Domen - Official language for the Domuc Empire, also used in the city of Port Jardic. Domen is used in: Domuc Empire(Official), Republic of Viltanor
• Hadari - A human language used as the official language of the Hadaran Empire. Hadari is widely used in: Kingdom of Charmonte, Hadaran Empire(Official)
• Laveteli - A beautiful language used almost exclusively as the official language for the Kingdom of Charmonte. Laveteli widely is used in: Republic of Viltanor, Kingdom of Charmonte(Official), Hadaran Empire
• Highlander - A human language originally from the Highland regions of the Free Kingdom of Soldern. Its use by the Golden Mountain Trade Guild have made it well used among many large trading groups. Highlander is widely used in: Republic of Viltanor, Free Kingdom of Soldern, Hadaran Empire, Almaridian Empire
• Lowlander - A human language unique to the lowlands of the Free Kingdom of Soldern. Lowlander is widely used in: Free Kingdom of Soldern, Kingdom of Charmonte
• Khoid - Used by human nomadic groups that are in the northern Uncharted Territories. May also be known by some goliaths and occasionally orcs. Khoid is widely used in: Uncharted Territories
• Omened - Used by human nomadic groups that are in the southern Uncharted Territories, which likewise can be known by some other non-human tribes. Omened is widely used in: Uncharted Territories
• Ruskur - The official language of the Republic of Viltanor, though other languages are just as common and widely used. It a typically spoken language among pirate crews, and is also one of languages used by the city of Port Jardic. Ruskur is used in: Domuc Empire, Republic of Viltanor(Official), Kingdom of Charmonte

Languages of the Sunar Confederacy:

• Alekite - A human language used almost exclusively by the Alekite people of Sunar. Alekite is used in: Sunar Confederacy
• Galedite - A human language used by the Galedite people of Sunar. However, many travelling deeper into the Katawani Desert may also speak the language. Galedite is widely used in: Domuc Empire, Republic of Viltanor, Sunar Confederacy
• Ivrosite - A human language used almost exclusively by the Ivrosite people of Sunar. Ivrosite is widely used in: Republic of Viltanor, Sunar Confederacy
• Labashite - A human language used by the Labashite people of Sunar. Technically, it is the national language of the Sunar Confederacy, making it the most widely spoken language of the region. However, many stick to their regional languages. Labashite is widely used in: Sunar Confederacy(Official)
• Verzanite - A human language used almost exclusively by the Verzanite people of Sunar. Verzanite is widely used in: Sunar Confederacy

• Celestial is used in: Kingdom of Salandi, Shiminore
• Dwarven is widely used in: Almaridian Empire, Khallador(Official), New Golden Alliance
• Giant is widely used in: Haffanland
• Goblin is widely used in: Domuc Empire

Notes:

• The Free Kingdom of Soldern has no official language, and the dominance of Highlander or Lowlander depends on if one is in the Highlands or Lowlands repsectively
• Though the New Elven Union's official language is Pananum, only the upper class, political elite, and military use it regularly. Most Elves outside of Ashared know how to speak it, and nearly no non-elves know it.
