Adventuring Info

Adventurer's Statuses

What is this?
This table shows who's hanging out around the guild resting and doing downtime, who is out adventuring already, and who hasn't decided it. Consult it if you have some people in mind for your adventures to see if they already have plans.

Adventuring Time Slots

What is this?
This table shows what time slots are available and what days those slots are being played. If all three slots are taken, then the only thing you can do is downtime, or somehow manage to get into one of the groups at the last second. Don't forget that the maximum is 6 people though!

Services Board

What is this?
This table contains all the active guild services that are available. Each one can only be used by 1 person per week of downtime, but will offer bonuses to whoever is using it. Make sure whatever one you want is free to use before you try and take it.

Your guild currently has no services available.

What is this?
These are quests that NPCs and organizations post for you to potentially take up. You do not have to accept any of them, and those that go unanswered for a time will eventually dissapear. The more renown you have, the more you'll get, and the harder and longer the adventures will become.

Request for Help - Generous Reward

Dear Adventuring Guild of Amalite

I am Edward Helmut, a nobleman descended from the Aestren Republic. Many years ago my family was in charge of the city of Devon, forming a governing dynasty that made us very powerful. However, since the fall of the Republic our family has been but humble servants to the New Elven Union, overseeing the functions of the town of Black Hill, a village between the town of Fraed and the city of Devon.

I am asking for your help because the only thing left in my life that brings me joy is in jeopardy. My son, David Helmut, has been arrested in the town of Fraed for conspiracy. He is a young man, just over 19 years old. He is my only family left. My first son died during the War of the Warlocks, and my wife passed several years ago due to disease. I cannot bear to lose him, yet the authorities are being unreasonable. They refuse to let me even see him until they have properly processed him, but it has been 7 weeks! Finally, a friend in Fraed has told me there are rumors they are to hang the boy very soon. I cannot wait any longer. Having heard of your deeds I have no one else to turn to. I'd prefer a diplomatic solution but I fear for my son's life, and wish him returned to me by any means necessary. In return, I promise you 10,00 silver pieces, and I will do all I can to be helpful in the future if need be.
Best regards,
-Edward Walter Helmut

Revenge for the Fallen

To the Guild of Amalite,

My name is Folmar Enlindal. I am a minor Noble of of the New Elven Union and priest of the Seldarine. Word of your deeds have begun to spread far, and so I have come to you asking for a favor. A favor that if done, will not go unrewarded.
My favor sprouts from an event that happened some time ago, when I recieved word that my sister had been murdered. Attacked by bandits on the road from Kersogi to Amenth, she and her family were killed. For a long time I've tried to find it in me to put the past behind me, but I've struggled to. For the leader of these bandits took with him a family heirloom, my mother's Mithril pendant passed down for many thousands of years. Such theft and waste of life cannot be forgiven, for I have tried and failed. I have arrived at the verdict that justice is necessary.
For a while I tried in vain to discover the identity or origin of the bandits that caused this to no avail. But I have recently been successful in divining who their leader was, and where he was from. That said, I, a representative of the highest powers, cannot undertake this task myself, such a thing would be a scandelous and foolhardy errand. However, I have heard of your guild's history with righting injustices, and so perhaps if you were to carry this out for me, I could reward you properly.
Come to the town of Mul Helmir if you are interested, and head to the Mithril Mountain Inn and ask to see Gerard. Tell him that you are there to deal with a problem of theft and blood. If it was not obvious, I'd wish to keep this matter discrete.

Reclaim a Stolen Item

To the Amalite Adventurer's Guild,

Having been patrons at my establishment before, I figure you may be interested in some kind of job. Ordinarily I reach out to cheap mercenaries as means of recovering items and investigating rumors of artifacts. Often times it ends up being more profitable, since most mercenaries are willing to return the items without any kind of trouble. But I'd be lying if I said it didn't occasionally bite me back.
It just so happens such an occasion recently transpired. Several months ago I uncovered rumors of an Elven artifact from the Azuren Empire and dispatched some mercenaries to take care of it for me. They did not return for 6 weeks, and I presumed they had met their match. However, I have recently recieved word that they not only survived but made off with the artifact for themselves.
So here is my proposal. They (the five of them) were to recieve the 6,000 silver for their work. I'll extend 1.25 times the payment bonus to you if you help me in reclaiming it. I'm interested in getting the item back, not revenge. If you deem it necessary to kill them, do so. But I have no interest in their lives. Come by my shop in Kianthor if you are interested.

-Arcane Alexander

Hiring Mercenaries to Help with Business!

To any mercenaries who seek to make a quick profit, we could use your help in the town of Alaria! We're looking for tough and mean looking mercenaries who don't ask too many questions and like getting paid 300 silver pieces for a job well done. Not to mention the job may include spending a couple evenings in a tavern or two making sure everyone gets along and nothing goes sour. Drinks and stays in the inn will be paid for, and you may engage in some of the inn's services while you stay. More can be discussed upon the job's acceptance. When arriving in Alaria seek out Willhelm Cherrygold at the Cherrygold Inn.

P.S. You have to be able to handle yourselves in a fight if we get a couple roudy drinkers or gamblers with buyers remorse.

Here, you passively ask your companions for help. You can be as pleading as you want, either demanding help or asking it in return for assistance or money later. In essence, you're the one designing the post, not me.
