Children of the Black Sun

The Children of the Black Sun was a religious and magical group formed shortly after the return of magic to the material plane. Its founder Malik, known as Malik of Many Hands, was said to be a powerful sorcerer or warlock of a previously unknown god named 'Monolith.' Capable of bestowing magical power to anyone he simply touched, Malik created an army of mages. Malik also reportedly had the ability to create true undead. While appearing perfectly normal, true undead would simply be reincarnated upon death, ready to fight again. The group is considered responsible for the War of the Warlocks, and though they were dissolved after their defeat, many speculate their members continue to operate, hiding from would be hunters.
