THE Federal Kingdom of Ardenia
And there's another country, I've heard of long ago, Most dear to them that love her, Most great to them that know.
On a frightful day, the people finally rose up against their foreign oppressors. The people seized the right to self-determination, to freedom, to liberty. No longer would foreign powers exploit their beautiful land for resources and money - no, they controlled their own destiny.
Noble, colonist and tribal marched into the future, unified in hope. Hope for a free state, hope for the future. This unique system had led to the first democracy in Galen - a system for the people, by the people. The trumpets sounded as blue banners were unfurled in every major cities - the people had won.
It has been 455 years since that fateful day, and Ardenia marches on into the future. Her people are indomitable, her government efficient. She marches on with the flame of liberty, the beacon that lights the world. She continues to march on into the fateful darkness, uncaring of any consequences.
Her scientists work to unfurl the very strings of the universe, a effort to spread freedom into the next frontier. She glares at the nation of Weltkria and Nacen, sorely wishing that their people would rise up and throw off the ever-present chains of oppression.
But she is not perfect. Inefficient social nets have caused a lack of affordable medical care. Elections are bloodbaths, with old grudges coming to the limelight as soldiers control riot after riot.
Ardenia is a free land - but time will tell if she rips herself apart attempting to achieve utopia.
