Galaxy Ablaze

The state of the Galactic Empire is STRONG.   Despite persistent rabble-rousing from the malcontent and disgraced war-mongers of the last war, the Empire stretches its banner across A THOUSAND SECTORS AT PEACE. There are a hundred, a thousand wars going on even now--minor skirmishes, policing actions, and brush-fires throughout the tens of thousands of planets in the Empire, but nowhere is their might, their orderly domination threatened on the scale of even a single sector.   The cultural disruptors of the last generation, the ones who made the Republic frail and almost fail from within, have been SILENCED FOREVER. It is a time of rebuilding, during which the Empire can cement itself as a regime to last a thousand generations by stamping out the chaotic impulses that ravaged the Republic.   But to rebuild, the Empire needs to heal. And to heal requires BACTA, sourced from Thyferra in the Jaso Sector. It's a green, warm planet. The sort that would be a vacation-going nowhere if not for the abundant production of the miracle substance. So the system has been dispatched some of the Empire's finest to keep control and order on Thyferra, to ensure that the bacta will flow.
