S22 1142 GDC, Arthion, the 4th day of Maiele - Ancient Temple - Part 4 Report

General Summary

The party faced off against the fiend in a deadly battle that sprawled across the great hall. Fiendish spiders were called to aid the creature and on numerous occasions the party had to split their focus to deal with all threats. Tense moments arose when Tarian and then Brawlipop were knocked unconscious by the fiend's ferocity but with the fortitude of the party as a whole and a one-two-thee punch combo from Moon, the threat was ended. The party were still trapped inside the vast chamber but a curious chest was found behind the pedestal where the fiend resided. Inside were items emanating magical signatures that once lifted from the chest, produced a magical disconnection. In turn, once all of the items were removed, an enchanted locking mechanism engaged and afforded the party and exit route. The group made there way to light and safety and met with Leonora and Narixa. The pull on those most attuned to magic was now gone. Even the mighty Narixa who had called this region home, was compelled to leave now that she no longer felt a pull to this location. She offered her services to the party if they should ever return to the bog and bid them and Leonora well on their return to Isag.
