S16 1142, Nambra the 1st Day of Maiele Report

General Summary

Hiding in the bog was a curious halfling named Quobin. He proclaimed that he was responsible for a community of halflings that would be interested in meeting the party however, everyone would need to rest for the evening and set out in the morning. Over the course of the evening the party investigated a meeting between Quobin and three of his community members, as observed by Raven and her "special abilities". Quobin's curious behavior seemed benign enough. On the morning of Haciathra, the second day of Maiele, the party was led to the marsh-like halfling community but an increasing unease began to flood over them. The halfling community revealed itself for what it really was, a group of cannibals against other humanoids. They attacked with overwhelming force and very quickly downed Tamanelz, Arlo, and Moon with a very potent and fast acting neurotoxin fully incapacitating them. It seemed all was lost for the rest of the party as the entire community converged on their location.
