S19 1142 GDC, Dilya, the 3rd day of Maiele - Ancient Temple

General Summary

The party made their way into the ancient temple found in the heart of Gamilta Bog. Remnants of past adventurers, animal remains, and the once proud Bronze Cloaks, litter the floors of this dreadful place. The first passage was already opened by the once local band, leading deeper into a larger chamber dominated by a door with an intricate magical lock preventing access. Upon further investigation of the sarcophagus in the center of this chamber it seemed the magic infused undead guardians encircling, lashed out at the party, until the skeletons were dashed to bits and put back to their resting place. Deeming it a bad idea to investigate the sarcophagus further, the party ventured through two separate wings of the temple only to be met by other magical locked doors, each with a sarcophagus of its own. After breaking into the south wing and attempting to push the lid off of the empty coffin, a creature materialized from the ceiling of the chamber and attacked!
