The Single largest Corporation in the Terran Federation, Starlink Aeronautics has since the formation of the Federation served as the principal corporation for the designing and construction of all ships in the Federation, be it Galactic Starships or Aerial Vessels.
In 2689, following an intense corporate war over the Aeronautics industry of the Tokyo Accord sphere, Starlink Aeronautics officially acquired the single largest Private Aeronautics company in the Tokyo Accord, Kyōfū Aeronautics, meaning it now held a total market monopoly over the Aeronautics industry in the Tokyo Accord and was the Single largest Aeronautics company on all of Earth, with subsidiaries operating in territory of both London Compact and Bogota Treaty Organization, coming to dominate local markets and using it's immense global power to dodge trust busting and attempts to break it's growing monopoly, it was this growing economic influence that in part lead to the collapse of the London Compact.
The Economic Influence of Starlink would lead to the single largest corporate deal prior to Terran Unification in 2695, when Starlink would develop with the cooperation of Bogota Arms, the largest Arms manufacturing company in the world, the Prototype ZY-95, the predecessor to the Modern ZY series, including the ZY-87 Interceptors and ZY-89 Close Air Support Tactical Bombers.
In 2701, with the official formation of the Terran Federation, Starlink Aeronautics was officially promoted as the State Conglomerate of Ship Construction, being the go-to company for government contracts in the construction of Military Grade Planes, helicopters, spaceships, and civilian craft, with the company coming to dominate the Aerial Market.
