Perception and Sensory Capabilities
It is assumed that all dragons possessed the same five basic senses as well as having vast amounts of magical power, allowing them to tap into the minds of everyone else nearby, reading their thoughts and emotions. As dragons got older, it was believed that their mastery over their senses only grew, to the point where they could discern the location of anyone simply by the vibrations in the ground caused by their footsteps.
