Relic hunters 31: rumbling nerves

General Summary

This session picks back up as all of the party and their various allies have gone onto the boats and are on their way towards Beorday
The travel towards the island lasts 5 days over which a number of things happen. During the boat travel Daine has a conversation with everybody, mainly Zero saying they all need to be ready to kill. Revali also during the boat trip, places a temporary enchantment on the sword of Zero for him to be able to handle fighting magical enemies better. During the boat trip Eris also tries to convince Noha to express his feeling to Malenia. During the travel, Eris also for the first time since they split has a long conversation with Halflight who also joined, asking him about his feelings and what actually happend why he left, Halflight explained that he was threatened and fled as a coward and that he still regrests it ecpecially after finding Sulyvahn just went through with the punishment anyway.
As the island comes in sight, the boats split up and the plan is set in motion.
Thorn splits up and goes land inwards quickly to take out 1 tower, he manages to do so, with quite some trouble as he is assaulted by magic bolts from the devoted who have all gained magic from a type of mark similar to the one the originals have but a lot weaker. Additionaly there also seem to be ghouls who have joined the ranks of the devoted and fighting back.
At the same time Iandal and Stivel take out a watchtower on the coast, while stivel climbs around the tower and sneaks to full people out of the windows, Iandal stands outside shooting perfect shot after perfect shot causing a pile of the cultist to fall.
On the other side of the island Daine and Malenia go to take out a seperate tower too, Malenia took out the gatehouse offscreen.
Daine finds ergo while moving towards the watchtower. he was hiding in the bonefields. and ergo, he explains what happened to the town. Daine then moves on the the watchtower, there he found a person off in a bush peeing which he took advantage of to take out, next Daine snuk through high grass around where he killed 2 people from the bushes by impersonating the person he killed using the bushes to mess with perspective so they don't notice he's a halfling untill its too late. then he found a halfling devoted smoking a pipe by the entrance, which he also killed and then impersonated to get up into the upper floor, where he relieved somebody and then killed the rest from the upper floor, and when there were only a couple left, deckie dropped the disguise and went killing. deckie managed to do it all without taking any damage.
after those, Thorn released a smoke signal to signal the less stealthy people to move in, they did. first Milum, Willow and Halflight. They moved over the fields into position only being stopped when a small searchparty of cultists found them which they managed to deal with, Willow managed to take out the cultist who went to alert the camp with a headshot from her sling.
Simultaunously, the large group with Eris and Zero moves in towards the camp now that they move in close they can see that the camp must have once been built by giants Long LOOONG ago. There by showing his mark Zero is lead to the leader of the devoted, Fana. he tries to convince her that they wouldn't be letting Enkrana out but a great evil. he does so by explaining he is Dorron and that Enkrana spoke in a vision to stop him, as well as that the soul of Enkrana is subjugated by Ignorov. Fana believes most but she refuses to believe nothing can be done, saying they can get Enkrana back from the soul mass then, she goes on anyway and offer Dorron to stay, she just won't cut it off. As Zero leaves out the camp again and meets up with all the allies that joined in front of the gate, they talk about how to stop it then, as all of a sudden the ground shakes as the ritual reached some threshold of magic, the session ended as the party and all their allies went to rush forward into the camp to try and stop the ritual.
the session ended on the 14th of wulf of the year 532 this was due to the travel to the island
