relic hunters 25: A friend saved

General Summary

At the beginning of the session the party and the enemies ship talked first
Deckie tries to convince Ikran that his cult is hypocritical and nothing but attacking people. but Ikran says he lies though he does symphatize for Eris and says he will talk with Sulyvahn, about what happened to her. as Deckie gets angry Ikran says he they do not see how close they are and how much he sacrificed.
Both sides at the same time tried to attack, with Eris throwing a fire ball and Ikran signaled Iandal in the crows nest who shot an arrow.
Eris tried to block Ikran from running with a fire wall but, with 2 strikes Iandal knocks her down but before she could bleed out Leo managed to save her.
Ikran managed to get off a spell which immediatly froze the entire party. Ikran grabs one of the crystals on him and places it around Deckie, and with a quick spoken spell puts the curse on Deckie. Thorn quickly rushes in after breaking Ikran's paralyzation spell, he quickly taken the necklace off again before Deckie was given a command by Ikran. Leo casts a spell summoning a massive flock of giant owls made out of starlight. Ikran casts a spell infusing Iandal with a ghostly energy giving flight and empored attacks.
Ikran was flocked and mauled to death by the owls.
Leo dispels the spell on Iandal causing him to fall to the ground, Deckie immediatly jumps forward and in 1 smooth movement he joinks the crystal from Iandal's neck breaking his curse.
after the fight Iandal explains to the party what he knows
Ikran seems to ressurect for a short bit before his soul visible leaves his body, together with it a mass of various other soul like bubles leave up into the sky as well. He also appologizes to Leo for what he did to their homeland, saying it was his greatest regret yet nececary for the soul mass.
As the party wanted to throw the body overboard, Iandal quickly stopped them saying he had more crystals on his body which they would need. the session ended as he was about to explain why.
The session lasted less than a day.
