Orlon

Orlon was a major NPC of the Smugglers of magic campaign. Orlon was a human man which was born and lived in Bersail for all his life. Orlon was very tall. People would question at times if he wasn't a half giant. He also had a large scar across his jaw. he had a darker skin and stark black hair.
He was a very paranoid, carefull and brutal man. Orlon would often kill people just on the chance they'd be a threat to him or his family. His families safety was worth more to him than anything else, except their prosperity. The man is brutal,  but doesn't really take pleasure in the brutality rather doing what he believes betters his own and his families chances. Orlon had 4 children which he took care of himself since their mother had died. His goal with running a gang was to build enough money so that his children would have what they needed for a good life, particularly to get them a proper education, which was ludicrously expensive for 4 children.
Orlon had a 5th child. That was their first child Marina was kidnapped by Changelings as a very young child. This resulted in the couple not having other children for a couple years. That child, Orlon would later in life meet again, as Lady, is that same child. Orlon his wife, Raisa died during childbirth of the youngest child. After Marina, Orlon's 4 children are: Edoma(girl, born 640), Urien(boy, born 641), Edith(girl, born 644), Gytha(girl, born 646), Horik(boy, born 647)
Orlon does everything for his family, its the reason he initially joined The Stolen as a member. When his wife died and he had to raise his children alone he also started the Smugglers of Magic, with the intent to eventually defect from the Stolen with them. The idea was that on his own he'd be able to keep more money and thus be able to pay for his family, to give them a good life, not just a survivable one.
Orlon used his huge body to fight bare handed. he has some combat experience but primarily his raw size and strength is what he uses to fight. He would grapple and throw people around as well as use his enviroment creatively in a fight. Next to that over the years of running the smugglers he took some magic items from people who used his services which he uses. Orlon did lose these magic items to the player characters of the smugglers campaign when he lost to them.
Orlon was a major NPC in a large part of the  Smugglers of magic campaign, so you can see his actions in detail there. During the campaign Orlon served as the leader of the Smugglers of Magic. When the Necra Itlin got into their hands. Orlon instigated using that book to try and become an independent orginization. In general he was an okay leader with a somewhat middling relation with a party. Occasionaly they worked together but sometimes where was some tension. Orlon was eventually manipulated by Vena. He was manipulated to attack the party, since he'd found out they knew about his children of which he is irrationaly protective. He lost the fight and was imprisoned instead of killed. This is the time which Lady joined the party too. She took revenge and tortured Orlon, but with divination magic learned that Orlon was her father and she was Marina(Orlon's lost child). Because of this, Lady spared Orlon, but he had to leave the city with his children and live somewhere else.
When he left he took money he had hidden away and used it to take his family to a different town in Porondar. There he lived a more hidden life. After the campaign Lady sought Orlon out and gave him money to be able to still give his other children the life she never had.
