Ogre's are a type of Giant. While still large in their own right, they are on the smaller end when it comes to the giants. Ogres tend to have below human intellgence but still enough to speak and be smart, its an average, there have been ogres that were far smarter than the average human, the average for ogres just lies below the human average.
