Halfling

The halflings are a species that has gone mostly unnoticed and free in the world. They are closely related to humans, so they look similar to humans. in appearance they are a LOT smaller, a little over half the height of humans, they tend to be a tiny bit wider in relativity, they have larger feet in relativity, a belly a bit (and stomach with that), they also have larger ears and a bit hairier than humans on average.

Halflings are scavengers way more than humans, while humans scavenged too, the halfling could barely ever hunt, they did when they could, but they were far more vulnerable. because of their size and with a bit of ingenuity they also became masters of camouflage. The halflings still live like this often, in villages that are easy to hide with lookouts, though there are also plenty that have integrated with other societies more.
Halflings also hold a relatively strong resistance to alcohol and can eat a lot for their smaller size.
