Fey

Fey are spiritual in origin, this means they hold a closer connection to their soul and with that, magic. It also means that their soul stands more central to their existence. A human for example has biological functions that would keep it alive in a similar way to the way a soul does for fey, while fey can have a physical body, fey CAN’T live if their soul is taken away, the body is just an extremity, but the soul is really what the fey creature is. Fey and other spirits do also broadly have access to indirect reproduction, where they can reproduce on their own. this process differs and is not easy, like it's not just like you decide you want to create a creature and then do so, there is often conditions and things you need to do involved and it differs per type of fey, emotion, type of fey, environment and many other things can play a part. In the end it happens on accident more than on purpose, but there are those that can and have on purpose created a fey to suit their needs as a child or servant. Some type of fey also have another way of reproduction they found that is easier and they use often as a result, like nymphs having figured out to grow more of them by setting the natural environment up in such a way that more will grow(basically cultivating very specific conditions to grow more) or satyrs who as fey of sex are able to birth children like mortal creatures. Fey influence, the fey as a creature has had influence on biological creatures, spirits hold varying opinions on humanoids and the like, some seeing them as lower beings compared to spirits and some seeing them as equal or even terrifying beasts. There have been humanoids and other bio creatures that have gained fey influence, this is from the ambient magic of the feywild, another thing that can happen is a union with fey, this doesn’t often result in a species, more often a single individual, but there is 1 current known exception (gnomes) and probably more i will make later. Basically this is a fey spirit being used as a demi-god base. This would indeed cause the issue of wind breaking and would require full harmony, but the fey influence causes the effects to be more visible. as the spirit is its soul and thus it is like you have its body too. with that, your body becomes like a halfway mix between the spirit and yourself (think dragon ball fusion) this can also happen with humanoids btw. gnomes originally were created this way, it's why they are so far removed from their lineage in appearance. fey magic fey magic is a type of emotion magic, all fey magic is strongly affected by emotion and irrationality. it can do a whole lot of weird and wacky stuff like steal names and concepts and other classic fey stuff.
