The Orc Tribes

THE ORC NATION
The nation of orcs is a nation of warriors. Though they aren't as creative as the other nations, being a pre steel society, with few exceptions. They have the best iron ore on the continent, but lack the tools and knowledge to make steel, save with the addition of animal bones to the forge. As such, their weapons are thicker and heavier to compensate and make them equal to any steel, which suite the orcs strength just fine. While their main religion is the worship of Gruumsh one eye, all tribes are not equal in their devotion. All 3 main tribes are, in actuality, amalgams of smaller tribes, held together in a system similar to vassals and lords. These conglomerates take the name of the lead tribe in their region, but maintain their own leadership within their villages. There are few true stone castles in the orc lands, and only 1 palace, most are forts with walls of wood and and occasional tower.
