Dragonborn Lore

General things to know about the Dragonborn:

Dragonborn are a proud and strong race. They believe that there are no such thing as a good dragon and generally despise all dragons since they were enslaved by Dragons for thousands of years. They seem themselves superior to most races but aren’t mean about it. They more just point out their natural superior that might lead to more awkward conversations. Dragonborn also love compliments and will agree to any compliment you give them. They don’t take challenges to the contrary though and many an unfortunate person has found themselves at the end of a Dragonborn’s wrath. Dragonborn will though recognize those that have shown to be superior to them and will openly admit and praise those that beat them or impress them greatly. Dragonborn also love to sleep on coins and it’s not uncommon to see bed rolls made from coins. Those who have beds of gold is a status symbol of wealth. Dragonborn’s are very prideful, honorable, compassionate, open, and value their individualism. They will try to do anything they can by themselves if they can but will ask for help if they need it. Therefore, you don’t see many Dragonborn clerics or warlocks because they can not lower themselves to beg for power.
Society:
Dragonborn have a lawful militaristic society. They value their warriors and sorcerers. They have a powerful navy which guards their island as well as there a strong air force comprising of Battle Drakes and their riders. They also value their miners for gathering precious minerals and wealth and their farmers/fishers with provide them with meat. Fish and pearls are plentiful but Metals and farmed goods are rarer due to their Island nation. Dragonborn usually belong to a clan and are very loyal to their clan.
Religion:
Most Dragonborn avoid religion and it is openly frowned upon in their society. You may not face any punishment from the government unless you worship a Draconic god. If a Dragonborn does worship a god, it is done privately so that they do not embarrass their clan.
Trade:
Taldora trades mostly Gem crafting, Fishing, Pearls, Military might and protection, and is a major trade hub due to their powerful navy and air force. Also due to there nature for gathering treasure for themselves and clan as well as need to be the best at what they do, they have powerful armies which they will hire out to neighboring kingdoms for a hefty price and for necessary goods. This puts them at constant odds with the pirate nation on the opposite site of the continent. Military: The dragonborn have a powerful navy, a strong air force, and strong ground forces under the king as well as smaller forces made up by the individual clans. Clan forces are know to hire themselves out to neighboring kingdoms to help enrich themselves, their clans, nation, and to earn honor an renown. Their Navy and air force will provide protection and escort for other kingdom’s sea trade routes.
Allies and Enemies:
They have friendly relations with the Dwarves, but generally don’t get along with the elves due to there haughtiness. They have neutral relations with humans which can be hit or miss. They war constantly with the Pirates and Various, Orc, Goblin, Hobgoblin, Bugbear, and Orge tribes.
