Danulir - City of Icy Steel
General Things to know:
The second oldest settlement on Gaia. This city's walls are the thickest of all kingdoms. Instead of build up onto itself like the elves the dwarves built out from themselves and below. Its said that on horse back, its two days travel from one side to the other. Only the Dwarves and gnomes know how deep their mines go. Dwarven smithies are the best known on Gaia, they are also the main hub of all types of ore and gems. Along with the heavily armored dwarves, the gnomes have all sorts of contraptions and gadgets that add in battle and day to day living.
Society:
Dwarven and gnome society is chaotic to its core but good in nature. Daily lives filled with explosions and bar tavern brawling, followed by laughter. Its also not a rare sight to see dragonborn roam the streets of Danulir because of their close ties with Taldora.
Religion:
The dwarves of this age revil in battle and fighting. Its makes sense to them that they follow the dwarven god, Clanggedin Silverbeard, the dwarven deity of battle. Clanggedin's realm is named Mount Clanggedin after himself, located on the plane of Arcadia. Clangeddin appears as a craggy, middle-aged, bald, silver-bearded dwarf in chain mail. He is usually armed with paired battle axes, and appears powerful and always smiling. He is an intermediate deity of Lawful Good alignment with the domains of Good, Law, Strength, War and Dwarf.
Trade:
The Dwarves mostly trade in Ores, gems and their smithing and tinkering skills. Their main partner is with the dragonborn.
Allies and Enemies:
Close ties with the dragonborn, if you see a dwarve drinking in a bar they are most likely drinking with another dwarves or a dragonborn. However they do not get along with elves because their general personalities clash.
