The Arcandians Founded 100-300 years before the Era of Conquest (900-1100 years ago) The Arcandians are a proud family of noble elves that originated as a family of powerful human wizards. Once elves came to Gaia there longevity was sought out. Lesser elves who were found to have magical talent where sought out as worthy brides for the men of the Arcandians. Eventually the Arcandians stopped producing human children all together. With longer lives many Arcandians became power mages and gained fame and power. Family loyalty is ingrained into all Arcandians. The Arcandians have ruled with a strong hand and a iron will but always slow to spill blood. Patience has become a powerful tool for them. Often taking years or decades for a plan to hatch.
