Great Holy War

Both myth and history, the Great Holy War is a massive conflict that took place at some point in Gaia's history. Most historical eras are ended by wars of some kind, but the Great Holy War supposedly spanned the entire continent, all nations, for decades.
Most historians agree that the Great Holy War took place during the Gods of War, as a transition between Gaia-12 and Gaia-13. However, it is commonly assumed among the laypeople that the Great Holy War ended Gaia-11, the Time of the One God.
More practically, the Great Holy War is a boogie man evoked by major entities to justify the balance of power. The Great Holy War is the Mutually Assured Destruction all sensible Gods of Paradise seek to avoid before all else.
