Ether

A theoretical, intangible essence that permeates all space, upon which ancient magical beings supposedly enacted miracles, such as the creation of Gaia Protarkas (and possibly the creation of the Sea of Smoke). Some sects of Loccism claim to utilize the Ether to achieve enlightenment, but these claims do not stand up to scientific scrutiny.
The term "Ether" also applies to Telemetric Radio Waves: those of frequencies reserved for Telecomputer operation.
