Diisey

According to the Ulaariaa faith, Diisey was the First Woman, who wisely looked away from the mind-destroying Inner Lights at the creation of the world, and so retained the gifts of thought and speech. She used these gifts to beg for the aid of Ulaa the Serpent on behalf of all its creations, pleading for protection from the divine power of the Inner Lights. In response, the Great Serpent encased the Lights in an egg; the Earth, proclaiming that one day the Earth would hatch, and its hatchling would destroy Ulaa and free the Inner Lights once more.
