Deluge

The Deluge is a vague reference to the unknown events that precipitated the origins of Gaia Protarkas and the Gaia Project. Some form of apocalypse that, presumably, flooded the rest of the world and covered the seas in darkness, "the Flood" seemed like a fitting name. Events allegedly taking place before this event are referred to as Antedeluvian.
