Salvo Peluso (a.k.a. The Slayer)

Salvo is an un-landed knight of Vetia. Father was a relative to a minor noblemen of Vetia. He was born to a camp follower among a mercenary company based in Ziani, he had little aspiration beyond becoming a knight and tasting the wealth and freedoms of rising high. After all, for a Vetian, a man made his wealth by earning it and a man's wealth is a measure of his worth.

Personal history

Salvo Peluso was born to a camp follower and a minor noblemen of Vetia. He was born on the back of a cart outside of Ziani. He was raised in and around Ziani. His mother found work as a farm hand during times of peace and usually went with mercenary companies on campaigns during times of strife. Salvo was always brought with when he was old enough and enjoyed being away from the simple farm life. He looked up to the mercenaries, especially the higher-born ones and those that worked their way up the ranks. Around age 8, he was luckily graced with the duty of squiring for a knight from Ziani. Rumor has it that his father "lined things up." While squiring he found himself falling deeper in love with the life of a fighting-man of Vetia, and lusted after the pursuit of battle and wealth. This is when he picked up the habits of cleanliness. 
During his Long-Way-Home, he worked his way into the services of a few mercenary companies. Usually staying close to the Grand City of Vetia. At age 19, he was delayed from returning home due to staying with his current employer until their campaign finished. Yet, he eventually found his way home to Ziani, and was later knighted during the next period of war for his actions on the battlefield. Where he rallied with a small group of men and helped make a decisive change in a battle. 
Scraping by as a un-landed knight during a time of peace, when the call for the 4th Crusade came Salvo Peluso was more than ready to pick up his gear and join up.
