Glowshrooms

Glowshrooms are mushrooms, commonly found in overgrown forests. At day, they are white and do not look like much. At night, however, they illuminate the forest as they glow of a beautiful blue. This is because the glowshrooms are coated with a white dust that gathers sunlight at day which then makes it glow at night. The dust is often gathered by people and used in alchemy to make glowing potions that can light up dark areas.
