Cavetumbler

Friendly Creature

The cavetumbler is a creature that can be found rolling around in the dark cave systems within the sharptop mountains. To roll around, the cave tumbler pulls in its legs, tail and head into its boulder like shell, occasionally sticking out its tail to control the direction of where it is rolling. The rolling is a very useful form of transport as it allows for quick and safe navigation through the endless tunnels. The shell protects it from taking damage when colliding with the hard rock walls. The shell of the cavetumbler is also a useful protection against any predators. A cavetumbler can be tracked by listening for the echoing tumbling sound as it rolls. Thhe cavetumbler will spend most of its time rolling around the cavesystems looking for insects to eat.
