Faction: ALF/Free People
Pros: feeding allows the vampyr to select a bonus once per in game day (+1 to a stat of the Vampyr's choice). Does not require sleep (however this speeds up healing via rest), Does not require air, water or food.
Cons: The Majority of pureblooded vampires are sensitive to sunlight, by varying degrees (see the family description for more info.) Lithian - The Progenitor Bloodline (Suspected to be Extinct) Noctis - The Shadow Clan
The Noctis clan, since the founding of their bloodline have had an indelible connection with the shadows and darkness.
Able to move through shadow as a medium in and of itself. The Noctis Clan have been entrusted with the task of "silencing" outspoken dissidents within the Amaranthean bounderies.
The Noctis Clan are able to shape the darkness itself and even manipulate cretaures via their shadows by employing shadow magic (This means they can have advantage on stealth checks and also have advantage when casting a shadow magic spell. They will still need to take Shadow magic if their class is a magic caster or another school) +2 Reflex bonus (transport via shadow to a shadowed location within 40ft)
Sunlight Sensitivity: Severe (Every turn spent in direct sunlight causes 2 wounds of damage which cannot be reduced or mitigated) Volyeaux - The Old Blood Clan
The Blood Sorcerers of the Amaranthean kingdoms, these ancient masters of blood magic are equally feared as they are respected. The Volyeaux have an innate ability to pull memories from the blood of their victims, the degree of success is often influenced by the age and ability of the Volyeaux attempting this.
The Volyeaux are able combatants also. Indeed, the more blood spilled, their own or their enemies, the more dangerous they become, able to use the blood as a weapon or as fuel for their Sanguimantic abilities. +2 Willpower Bonus (Must start with Sanguimancy as their starting magic discipline.)
Sunlight Sensitivity: Severe (Every turn spent in direct sunlight causes 2 wounds of damage which cannot be reduced or mitigated) Hildébrand - The Berserker Clan
The leaders of the military arm of the Vampyr realm, the Hildébrands are a proud breed, often quick to anger and out to prove their strength. "Might makes right" has never had such a good home. The Hildébrand clan also have a strong sense of honour, they detest cheating and any who may break their word. The Hildébrand who are not in the role of knight or crusader often find employ as enforcers for private interests, or in some cases, for less savory employers depending on the standards of the individual. +1 Strength and +1 Fortitude -1 Judgement. (Once per day, the Hildébrand can become resistant to all physical forms of damage, excluding fire, lightning and energy damage)
Sunlight Sensitivity: Light (Every 2 turns spent in direct sunlight causes 1 wound of damage which cannot be reduced or mitigated) Kel'naris - The Diplomat Clan
Advisors, diplomats and even members of the Grand Council, the Kel'naris clan are probably the most wide spread and widely accepted clan.
Where other clans are viewed with suspicion or wariness, the Kel'naris members are often welcomed as mediators.
Given their long lives they are able to ingratitate themselves into the lives of entire families for several generations. Of course there are those Kel'naris that are more ruthless or underhanded, there are always outliers. +1 Charisma +1 Intellect (Can make a Willpower Vs Willpower check to attempt to glamour a target, any hostile action towards the target will cancel this effect)
Sunlight Sensitivity: Light (Every 2 turns spent in direct sunlight causes 1 wound of damage which cannot be reduced or mitigated) Cassomere - Lesser Clan

Dhampyr Descendants
Dhampyrs are the result of Vampyr and human copulation. Distilling many powers and benefits with none of the downsides. A Dhampyr is stronger than most humans but usually weaker than a full blooded Vampyr. Dhampyrs are not affected with sunlight sensitivity. When Creating a Dhampyr, the player may select either the stat bonus of one bloodline or the innate ability, not both. Additionally, instead of having a blood tank of 100, they may only reach a total of 50. Basic Information
Anatomy
Vampyr's fall in line with typical morphological composition of Terrestrial and Amaranthean humans.
With the exception of different coloured eyes and of course the easily identifiable fangs.
Genetics and Reproduction
Vampyr's reproduce similarly to humans, though it takes many attempts to achieve conception as their physical cycles are vastly different than other races, with the exception of Elves who share a similar reproductive cycle.
Growth Rate & Stages
Vampyr's grow at approximately the same rate as a standard humn, however upon reaching their mid-twenties they often tend to stop aging to outward observers. In actuality their physical aging slows to roughly 1 year for every 50 human years.
Dietary Needs and Habits
Vampyr's of all walks do indeed require blood, and somewhat often. Approximately once every 3 days and ingest roughly 1 litre of blood for sustenance. Vampyr's can however also eat normal food, doing so can sometimes reduce the need for blood, though not indefinitely.
Blood can be taken from any creature that is warm or cold blooded, the only requirement is that the victim be living at the time of feeding.

Civilization and Culture
Beauty Ideals
Beauty is quite a high requirement in Vampyr society, soaring to intense heights with the Volyeaux and Kel'naris clans. Sparking competitions both peaceful and otherwise between the two clans.
Courtship Ideals
Courting amongst Vampyrs is a mixed bag depending on which clan you look at.
Noctis - The Shadow Clan
The Noctis clan tend to have rather unconventional courting methods, with females of the bloodline pursuing their desired partner and attempting to kill them. Should the partner survive the attempt then the Noctis Vampyr will often propose to them. Should they fail, at best the target becomes a blood-branded servant, at worst they become a light snack. Volyeaux - The Old Blood Clan
The Volyeaux clan have somewhat more traditional courtship ideals, they will attempt to woo an intended partner, even to some degrees doting greatly upon them. Should the partner accept the advances, the Volyeaux Vampyr will drink fully half of their blood and see if the partner is strong enough to survive, with obvious consequences. Hildébrand - The Berserker Clan
The Hildébrand clan have some interesting ideas about courtship. In their traditions, if someone utterly defeats them in combat, whether it be a duel or a fight to the death, they will pledge themselves to that person, regardless of gender. The only stipulation they have is that the combatant they face be at least somewhat human-like in appearance. The more monstrous or animalistic creatures of the world are exempt fromt this practice. Kel'naris - The Diplomat Clan
The Kel'naris Clan are likely the closest to traditional when it comes to courtship, with only occassional variance in how they approach the practice individually.
