Personal history

Syndra was the first born of Arae Arno and was set to inherit the crown. As a one one of the daughters of the Queen she went through the process of becoming a Daughter of Mercy and lead the Mercy's armies into victory against the Eastlands. She took this task seriously and excelled at it, however, as the war continued and no side seemed any closer to victory, Syndra began starting many projects that many would consider unorthodox and immoral; summing and enslaving demons, making use of undead, pacts with evil gods, anything to give Mercy an edge against the Eastlands. Her most successful project was tricking the entire Paladin Order to side with Mercy, however this proved their ultimate downfall.
During the war the Grand Chancellor of Mercy had convinced Syndra that her mother was unfit for the role and needed to be replaced if Mercy was ever to win the war. Syndra had then orchestrated a coup to eliminate the entire royal family besides herself and her blood siblings, her plan was successful and she was coronated as the new High Queen of Mercy.
To give herself more power she had started worshipping Tiamat and had become her herald as she began working to bring Tiamat into the material plane. In the end her plans had even succeeded, but she was killed by Tiamat and then Tiamat defeated by an unknown party

Morality & Philosophy

She was cruel and went out of her way to make most people's lives difficult and grueling. She never had any issue betraying her family or anybody else. Despite how terrible she treated other people she had a genuine care for her country and wanted to see it prosper, her methods of making this happen however were abhorrent
