All of the Sha'den are constantly vying for complete control of the Shadowfell, in an effort to amass enough power to overwhelm anything they may encounter in the Material plane, even those who don't claim territory or stop their own expansion still desire for other Sha'den to fail

Shared customary codes and values

The Sha'den all have values that run opposed to their original's. In most cases a Sha'den will simply have opposite values to the orginal, but that is not always the case, as the plane itself seeks to propagate evil and chaos. So if someone who is already evil enters the plane, the Shadowfell will simply create a Sha'den is much worse than they are to replace them.
The only constant is that a Sha'den will always spread chaos, purposefully or not
