Personal history
Lenvar's family was very influential during the Mercy - Eastland wars and had even been charged with one of their most important weapons of war, Mercy's unique use of infernal Magic. The Sirco family had become adept at using demon magic and bending it to their own will, and by the late stages of the war, they had even summoned demons and completely subverted them. They had changed demons and even turned more sentient ones into nothing more than beast. After the war, the family still kept most of their influence and power because of their magic.
Lenvar was sent to a magic academy in Yorken to further his own skills after the destruction of Mercy's academy. There he had learned tolerance for other races that the rest of his family had lacked, even becoming smitten with a Satyr, Fritz, that had been at Yorken at the time. He had truly cared for Fritz, until it was revealed that Fritz had been a demon. Lenvar had become more then well acquainted with demons due to his family, and had been aware of all the lies they would try to tell to get there way or subvert other mortals. Lenvar felt betrayed and wronged and decided to do to Fritz what his family had done to countless demons beforehand, and try to subvert him, but before he could get too far in this process, Fritz had left, hating who Lenvar had become after the revelation about his origins.
Lenvar stayed in Yorken and continued his studies with a renewed vigor, and a goal in mind. After finishing his studies, he went on to join the Yorken council and help lead the city, but after hearing of the demon invasions in the Eastlands when the walls went down, he went their, eager to use all he had learned and practiced to eliminate the demons still there
Education
He had learned from his family and gained their unique knowledge of infernal magic, aswell as years of studying at Yorken's magical academy

He had been part of Yorken's city council before going to the Eastlands

He let Fritz escape into the world, where he believes that Fritz is causing chaos and ruining lives, or that if he hasn't started that yet, planning too

He is an intelligent and skilled man, though very close minded
Morality & Philosophy
While being in Yorken had changed his more 'Mercy' views on mortal races and made him far more open to being friendly with them, he treats extraplanar beings like nothing more than animals, and believes they either need to be eradicated or 'leashed'
