Balmung

This magic blade is crafted from the heart of a Silver Great Wyrm that gave its life willingly for its creation, how Pale Night achieved this, none will ever know, but this has granted the blade a plethora of abilities and powers. This weapon greatest shortcoming however is that its power is based off its wielder's strength and morality. Balmung is nearly sentient and it seeks to enact justice and protect the weak, but over the millienia of use, it has only been used by demons for wicked or trivial purposes slowly corrupting the soul of the once majestic protector held within. It has now become a small dagger, with a curse that will occasionally lash out at its wielder with lethal intent if they dont cut down something evil at least once a month. Even through all the trials and tribulations this blade has been through, it still holds the faint glimmer that It can be used for good as it once wanted.
