Celereagle

Hollow Majesty Florabeast

Nearly every culture around the world has held Celereagles in high regard due to their strength, power, and size. Soaring above the treetops to absorb maximum sunlight, these inspiring creatures return to the earth every night to root, usually in protected, hard-to-reach areas. Many see this as as stemming from their somewhat regal nature, unwilling to associate with the common folk or beasts. Those who have handled Celereagles directly know the true reason: they are among the most fragile Florabeasts currently in use.

Despite being able to soar faster and farther than most other kinds of flyers, or snatch a small Cherrier at a run, Celereagles are quite frail and cannot hold up to much hard work of any sort. Their lustrous wings and underbellies dazzle in shades of green, white, and purple, while distracting from a flimsy structure mostly composed of water, with brittle lignified bones. To their credit, they have a very strong and unique flavor that is somewhat adaptable, allowing them to adjust their composition slightly to better overcome opponents when dueling or sporting.

Regardless of these limitations, Celereagles are still a very common choice for first-time planters to benefit from their speed and agility. As long as they are kept mostly airborne and brought to ground during sudden storms, a Celereagle will prove to be a loyal companion for many years.

Name Explanation
The final -y sound of celery matches with the initial ea- sound of eagle. Keeping with the comedic theme of the world, the most powerful avian hunter is paired with the most bland, weak vegetable.
