Bagull
Round Pest Aberration
The only thing worse than a swarm of monstrous aberrations that are looking to devour any bread products they can get their claws on, is a swarm of monstrous aberrations that can fly, too. Bagulls are round little beasts made out of boiled bread, with the beak of a bird sticking out of the front, and two wings coming out the sides. They haven't got any legs, but that doesn't seem to bother them much as they can land and take off just as easily as if they did.
One of the best ways to destroy a Gast is to use a Gastrological recipe centered around the opposite flavor as the monster. Bagulls make that mighty tricky, as they come in all kinds of varieties. Sweet ones have berries or honey, salty ones are covered in cheese, and savory ones are all crusted with herbs. There've even been reports of sour ones with onion all over them. It seems to have a lot to do with what they devour, or whatever's on hand when they're created. If one or two are around, it might be possible to wipe them out with a recipe, but if there's a flock of them prowling around, the other best way is needed. That one involves as many salt bullets as you can find, or a nice canister of Greek fire.
"Why does a seagull live by the ocean?"
"Because if it lived by the bay, it'd be a bagel!"
