The Arborea Pantheon
One of The Larger Religious Pantheons of Palladia.
It encompasses many of the gods worshipped in the world. Spread accross mostly The wild river lands, the gods worshipped in the kingdom of the buck are closely connected to the pantheon. As have the southern Islands been impacted by the religions associated with the gods of this pantheon.
They believe these gods guide them and influence the happenings of the worlds, are considered the source of their magic or are behind the motivations of the different nations in the world.
Alltho some of these gods their influence can be felt more then others, they are all real beings from the realm of Arborea and are all very powerfull. They have their own motivations and goals, some can be more mischievous then others, but all are in essence good beings and don't wish to bring any harm to the beings of this world.
Mythology & Lore
Many different gods exist within this pantheon and from those gods the Elven ones are believed to be the most powerfull.
These gods are:
Corellon: Correlon is Regarded as the primary elf deity. When he had descended to rest in the wild river lands, he brought with him the knowledge of the different deities of Arborea and started the spread of these religions.
Aerdrie: The Winged Mother, Aerdrie is goddess of air and avians, and shares her domain with the aarakocra goddess Syranita.
Araleth: Known as the Prince of Stars, Araleth is the god of light and stellar bodies, one dedicated to the endless war against the dark powers of the abyssal
Araushnee: Formerly known as the Weaver of Destiny, Araushnee was the original name of Lolth when she was the goddess of art and fate. Her realm was once an autumn grove of trees with silver-stems, with a spring at the center that saw great merriment and reflection. After her betrayal and rebellion, it was reduced to a series of dead trees with a sludge pool at the center, haunted by giant spiders and banshees.
Deep Sashelas: Lord of the Undersea, Sashelas is the god of knowledge, creation, and the ocean.
Erevan: Called The Trickster, Erevan is thegod of mischief and change.
Fenmarel: Known as the Lone Wolf, Fenmarel is the god of solitude and outcasts.
Hanali: Known as the Heart of Gold, Hanali is the goddess of love and beauty, and an intense, but friendly, rival of Sune.
Kirith: Known as The Magess, Kirith was the goddess of magic, specifically the subtler schools of enchantment and divination
Labelas: Known as The Lifegiver, Labelas is the god of longevity and time.
Melira: Known as The Songstress, Melira is the goddess of bards and music, and the daughter of Hanali Celanil, who sent her to Corellon to serve as an apprentice.
Mythrien: The Watcher, Mythrien was the Seldarine god of the titular elven wards.
Naralis: The Watcher of Souls, Naralis is the god of the afterlife, as well as healing and easing pain.
Rillifane: Known as the Leaflord, Rillifane is the god of the woodlands and the harmony of nature.
Sarula: Known as the Nixie Queen, Sarula is the goddess of fresh water, including lakes, rivers, and rain.
Sehanine: The Daughter of the Night Skies, is the goddess of death and dreams
Shevarash: The Black Archer, Shevarash is the god of vengeance and loss.
Solonor: Known as Keen-Eye, Solonor is the god of archery and hunting
The lesser Deities of the pantheon are the non-Elven deities within the pantheon, they can have overlapping domains with an elven deities, but are not always less powerfull.
Silvanus: The god of wild nature, Alltho of Elven Descent, he is considered a lesser deitie, his connection with the goddess sune and close connection with wild nature, has made him become dissasioated with elves themselves.
Sune: Known as Lady Firehair, the goddess of Love, beauty and compassion, A goddess of human descent
Tymora: Known as Lady Luck, the goddess of good fortune and victory, of human descent.
Waukeen: Known as The Merchant's Fiend, the goddes of wealth and commerce, of human descent
Lliira: The Lady of Joy, the goddess of dancing and merriment. of human descent.
Sharess: The Lustful Mistress, the goddess of hedonism and sensuality, of human descent.
Mystra: The goddess of knowledge and Arcana, of human descent
From the above mentionned deities the goddess' are part of The Sisterhood, allthough not bloodrelated. These goddess' have a close bond which eachother.
Divine Origins
The Spread of the pantheon seems to have 2 points of origins:
1 located within the wild River lands, where the elven deities had an influence and the believe in these gods spread quite smoothly. They believe that corellon had descended in a place now known as corellon's rest where he told the inhabitants stories of the different gods that shared his homeland in the plain of Arborea
The other is within the northern region now know as the kingdom of the buck, where silvanus met the sisterhood and their integration into the pantheon started.
These gods can be found worshipped in all related territories, but some more prevelant then others. The main deities in each territory are as followed:
