A hardened battle veteran and Jotnar hunter. one of the few survivors of the Storm over Humility.
Njal Ulf rules fair but stern, the rough environment is unforgiving and he has to ensure his people can face the dangers it poses. He looks for the strength his people posses and encourages them to develop those strengths.

Lordship of castle wolf is passed on through the Ulf Bloodline and from a young age, Njal was prepared for his role to lead and trained to protect his people. he had many masters of their profession educate him in their craft, he trained with the best, but none would truly prepare him for the challenges that lay ahead of him.
The Jotnar prove to be a formidable foe, but hunting them was well worth the reward. But the hunt can go too far, and njal ulf found himself with his first pack deep within jotnar territory, they had tracked a jotnar back to it's home and found a small Jotnar village near the mountain edge. The Jotnar were all well adorned in jewelry and their armors were made of gold. Young, brave but as fools they believed they could get in and out. But only Njal made it back to castle wolf that day, he never spoke of what happened to his pack, but his eyes said enough.
it was then years later at the age of 35, called to aid in a war by Duke Ronin Proudbuck of the Duchy of the Buck. He, 10 other lycanthropes and 30 of his most loyal rode out to defend the town of humilty against an assualt of the southern islands. A battle named the storm over humility. A dark day for the duchies and the southern islands, as both forces led heavy losses. only Njall and the lycanthropes from his forces had survived this battle.
These events have made his leadership stern and militaristic, wanting his people to be strong and prepared for the dangers that might be thrown at them.
