Common Dress code
Covered in fur as they are, the Pakkan have little need for clothing and as such do not wear any. They do however adorn themselves in a variety of ways such as dying their fur or braiding ribbons and beads into it, some wear fanciful jewellery and others colourful scarves, shawls or belts, or all!
The parjest and Johata of the clans wear elaborate headpieces, each one unique, to make them instantly recognisable and healers also wear the same distinctive headbands for the same reason.
Art & Architecture
Experts at working stone the Pakkan have turned the cave systems of Haavan into a massive city. Working as much as possible with the natural shapes and formations of the caves they have carved out a home of immense beauty. Using pigments and dyes they paint the walls of their homes in geometric patterns, and vast murals depicting nature and their history adorn the walls of their public spaces.
Funerary and Memorial customs
After the death of a Pakkan a Spirit artist the friends and family of the deceased will gather at home with a spirit artist. Here they will tell tales of their loved one and talk about what that person meant to them. The spirit artist will then meditate upon these stories and draw a representation of that persons spirit upon the wall of the family home.
