Frale Crystals

Different types of crystals that charge the Effects of Frale. They come in different sizes, categories, and charging power. The stench of the Frale crystals are quite strong and acidic smelling to the Humane. It doesn't affect Frale but the Humane can quickly pick up the smell of a crystal, so Frale have to come up with all different types of ways to conceal their stench. The smell alone makes the Humane associate them as poor and unhygienic. Larger crystals emit light, making them harder to hide.

Categories

These main crystals are what Humane think of Frale, the base crystals are what usually are a center piece in Frale's homes, where the family comes to recharge their own personal crystals that they use throughout the day. Base crystals can take a large portion of a small room, usually having at least a 4-5 foot base, and can grow up to 5-7 feet high. These can take up to three years to grow with an expert Crystal Artificer tending to it, so moving to a new area requires much preparation. Illegal crystals are mostly thought of in a negative view because they are the quickest crystal for Frales with the right effect to grow from the smallest amount of energy available. They were ruled illegal because there was a large scandal of homeowners finding large amounts of these types of crystals growing in their homes, usually beneath floorboards or basements. Secret Crystals refer to the crystals refer to any crystal that is concealed in some sort of trinket. Jewelry is an ideal spot, and are usually suspect. But it can range from painted combs, twisted underneath certain hairstyles or hats, even a secret compartment in shoes. Some even will toss a crystal in a bottle of heavily scented perfume to spray throughout the day despite how ineffective it might be. These type of crystals are risked for Frale that are becoming sickly or aren't having their crystals full at a start of the day.
