Four Quadrants

Two peoples are thought to have predated the rest of the modern peoples: the Mud Men and the Kang.  

Millennium of Mud

The mud men (though probably not what they called themselves) are thought to be the oldest people in Tahuantinsuyu. Primitive artifacts and mud art are scattered everywhere throughout high mountain spots and cliff faces. They are the only people to pre-date the Kang, yet never managed to grow to their heights.  

Munay Manqus

The Kang are the most advance people to have come out the high mountains. They have attained near mythical status for their conquering ways and ushered in the precedent of dividing eras according to military companies.
