Bihorn Rearing

A herd of hardy mountain creatures is thought to have wandered into the ice valley and became a staple of the region.
Their milk is used to produce a tangy, nutrient-rich cheese and their meat is often slow-roasted for communal feasts. Their wool is also woven into dense, weather-resistant clothing.

Glacialists play a vital role in societal protection from anything outside. When threatened, they get together to plug the mountain passes with massive man-made glaciers that serve as impenetrable walls against invasion. Some grew so big that they earned names of their own: P’aki, Urqu, Ayiswirka

Entombment

People are buried inside hive shaped tombs comparable to ice houses.
These chullpas are often located high above settlements and require mourners to exert labourious effort to hike there while carrying necessary preparations.

Over time, the ice layers naturally preserve the remains, reinforcing the belief in eternal protection by the mountains.
