Foundria
Foundria is an island nearly five hundred miles across north to south, and nearly two hundred miles across east to west with no other land visible on the vast horizon. Much of its land was once covered in a dense forest, but the people on the island have cut much of it down in order to fuel their Factories and Foundries, leaving much of the land near the shore deforested.
Foundria is home to plenty of wildlife, much of it being numerous small herbivores. The largest animal on the island is the local human population. The humans are not native to the land but rather arrived several hundred years ago via an unknown method and have done a great deal of damage to the island in that time. Most notably, they cut down much of the native forest and covered the island in smog, making it hard to see more than a couple hundred feet in any direction and causing health issues to much of the ecosystem, including the humans themselves.
Foundria is also home to a particularly large population of TreeMakers and varying amounts of other eternals (see note at bottom), including twin mountainers who made and rule over the twin mountains at the center of the island.
Aside from the forest and the twin mountains, the island has many large, flat plains and unusually large shores, reaching a half-mile inland before the sand begins to give way to dirt.
Note: Eternals
Eternals are creatures which have existed since the world began and typically rule over one domain of the world (i.e. trees, mountains, the sky). They do not die naturally and do not have any natural predators as when they are seen by another creature that creature will typically have an innate knowledge of the place of eternals in the world and will thus leave them alone. However, eternals cannot reproduce, so if an eternal is killed then there will forever be one less eternal in the world.Geography
