Ritual of the Pentagram

The Ritual of the Pentagram is used to channel the energy of entities from other universes, most typically in the form of a summoning. To perform it, there is a base ritual, and then a number of variations intended for more specific purposes.

Process

• Clear and consecrate the area for the ritual,
• Draw upon the ground a circle, and within the symbol of the pentagram.
• At the top point of the pentagram, draw the symbol of the wheel
• At each other point, in a clockwise direction, draw the symbol of one of the four elements (earth, fire, water, air) according to the positions dictated by the zodiac - fire in the east, earth in the south, air in the west, water in the north
• At the center of the pentagram, draw a symbol for the entity being summoned. This will vary by summoning, but some of the most common symbols are: symbols of the zodiac, a true name, a representation of a Sephiroth, etc
• Speak the names of of the five corners of the pentagram in the angelic language - Emor Dial Hectega, Exarp, Heoma, Nanta, Bitom
• Place the containment vessel at the center of the pentagram, opened and receptive
