Aivyael (Ive-yale)
Demographics
A large majority of the cities permanent population are Light Elves, or roughly about 75% of the population is. The remaining 25% is largely human, followed surface gnome, wood elves, and various other races.
Government
The highest authority of the city is known as the High Mage, who the most pull in the entire city. They largely delegate other necessary roles to other people they trust, such as leaving a majority of the court's jobs to the Lawmaster.
Defences
The entire city is surrounded by a high wall that is dotted with guards at all times of the day. Beyond that, the entire guard is capable of using magic to assist in the protection of the people and the arrest of any criminals.
Industry & Trade
The largest money maker in the city is the magic college, which pulls in a large majority of the gold and platinum the city uses. Beyond that, there are many businesses that deal in magical items. Enchantments, potions, libraries filled with scrolls, which are all traded out to other towns and villages within the country.
Infrastructure
The city is divided into 4 quadrants, with the magic college in the city center. The city is too large to fully travel in a single day, so there are many stations set up where wizards can help to teleport different people across the city for anything they may need, such as to go shopping and back home.
Points of interest
The main points of interest in the city are two for adventures: The College of Magic and the Infinite Rift tavern, which is where many of the adventurers jobs are located.
