The Joyous Queen

"Don't mistake me, I understand wanting power, and others can certainly give it to you. However...The feeling of power is meaningless when it is someone else's. Empowerment is yours alone, set yourself free and you will feel power coarse through your veins."     It is said that once there was a terrible monster, a creature of the fey who wore a cloak of green and acted an assassin of great powers in the land. The Godkiller they called her, With a bow made of Silver and eyes of Ruby, she is said to have been a reaper of men who claimed domain over many lands. No mortal force could be said to be as formidable, but mere regicide was not enough to sate her appetitive, or so they said. She took to the mountains of cloud, where then the old gods still ruled, and laid low the beings worshipped throughout Fortur, in this way The Joyous Queen is said to be the reason for The New Pantheon in herself.   When she killed the old rulers in this way of course she was crowned among the new pantheon, but The Joyous Queen rejected such godhood. Many worship her, and more fear her, yet she holds no divine council and spends her time still in the materiel plane. Seemingly un-wanting of the Duties godhood entails, she is said to roam the world as any other traveler rarely if ever offering divine power to clerics nor champions.

Prayer For The Dead -From The Queens Book of Prayers and Rites by Hana Grimm-Pitch "My Queen, grant this one beauty beyond our world. That the stars might leave their ashen eyes, and embrace eternity in your breast. Grant this soul ferry to the planes of love beyond light, to the world's untouched by darkness. Grant them peace beyond rest, and joy beyond comfort, let their passion echo for all time and touch our hearts from whence they came."
Daily Prayer for Success, Beauty, and Luck -From The Queens Book of Prayers and Rites by Hana Grimm-Pitch "My Queen, I know well you are fastidious. I pray that you will help me to be also, that no dirt might mar the beauty I have been graced with.
My Queen in your grace, help me as I aspire to be as you are, to let what Freedom and wanderlust I hold within me be visible on my skin and in my smile. To inspire others to rise to such beauty within and without by my example.     Help me to cull any flaws from my being, My Queen, that I may better serve you and those I hold dearest. That I may better strive to remove the unkind, the violent, and the destructive from this existence.     I wash myself of my sins and misdeeds, My Queen, so I may be free of the chain of my past. That I may wander unbounded, unbroken, and unyielding.  I wash away my reservations, such that they may have been when I first joined your worship, that I may allow love to blossom luck to come and joy to bloom.     Grant me your passion, My Queen, that I can inspire passion in others. Grant me your wisdom that I might share it with those whose lives I touch. Grant me your strength, Oh Joyous One, so I may protect those I have accepted into my heart. Grant me your clarity of sight, Goddess, that I might find beauty in it’s most obscure recesses.     I thank you My Queen, for the grace of my being, for the fight to carry on, for the strength of my compassion, for the freedom to choose."
