The day starts back where it ended last night. We are still at the old fort ruins inside the necromancer's tent by the Old Owl Well. From what I can see, the area is completely deserted except for us and the air feels dry. By the height of the sun, it's around noon-ish. We are starting to wake after a full rest was had by all for purposes of healing and spell regeneration. Yesterday's battle was really not that difficult, but it was definitely exhausting - so many zombies. All of us were wounded and really needed the sleep we got.

We now head toward the northwest via the Triboar Trail once more. On through Coneyberry where we visit Agatha the Banshee. Mairon presented her Sister Garaele's comb (given to Mairon during our first visit to Phandalin) for which she agrees to answer one, and only one, question. Mairon then questions her as to the location of the spellbook he's trying to find. She tells him that she gave it to a necromancer named Tsernoth from Iriaebor more than a hundred years ago. She has no idea where it is now.

We then go back into the ruins. We stop, because this is where Alden insists on splitting up all of the accumulated loot that has been adding up. He wants to lose some of the weight it's causing, and this way we can all share the burden.

While doing this, we have apparently interrupted the dinner of six Goblins and their two captains. They are not happy about our transgression and attack. Once again we were able to defeat our enemies and received some nice items among which were some studded tunics. As a group we unanimously agree that Roscoe should have one of the studded tunics in exchange for his plain one.

We finally get back to Phandalin. While there some trading was done as well as upgrading some of our armor and weapons. We also decide to purchase two draft horses and a cart for the group. (The cart we had earlier for carrying supplies was not ours so we could really use one of our own to make travel easier.)

Now on our way to Cragmaw Castle, we encounter a pack of seven wolves which attack us. We are quite easily able to defeat them. And it breaks my heart to kill such beautiful creatures, but they would not retreat.

At this point, we recessed our adventure until our next gathering.
